Hi Kim. Great timing! To think that is was a topic I nearly didn't start on. Sometimes I get to concerned about what "the few" will say at the detriment of "the many. Now I'm happy that I posted it. Thanks for that! :)

I've been exploring your site and this last blog is so inspirational and it comes at a perfect time where I'm going to be giving lessons for people who want to learn how to draw. Like you say it is a way to express yourself and ease your mental health and there isn't enough people willing to get together and express themselves to create a better state of mind than with an art class. This just shows we are all not just automatons we have spirits and passions no one realizes that need release in a positive way.

My teacher once told me: "Life is what you make it." I plan on directing an epic one day, "For Art Sake".

Thanks!

We each have creative potential that we can learn to tap into differently. Its a question of learning to value ourselves, being willing to explore the nature of our hidden talents, and of accepting parts of ourselves that we had consciously or unconsciously put aside, rejected or devalued, without giving these parts a chance to flourish.
