If you have a product to sell and you have an affiliate link, you may want to hide your affiliate link so people can’t see the affiliation. I will share this in a video inside the Free Internet Marketing Support Area. You know how to get access. It was in yesterdays post.

Without even having a website, you can still advertise affiliate products for free on some classified sites. I will also share that information in a video in the support area. Access to that area is free for the duration of this competition.

Affiliate Resources

This is the process shown in the first video in the internet marketing support area:

  1. How to locate your affiliate link and then hide it.
  2. How to locate a Free ad site.
  3. How to sign up for the above.
  4. How to write and submit your ad.
  5. and more…

The second video in the support area will show you how to publish Free Classified Ads.

Here are some examples of Free Classified Sites:

  1. AdlandPro
  2. ICTW.AdPost
  3. Post Your Add For Free Forum (this is a forum, but works the same way)

I hope you have enjoyed Selling Affiliate Products Without A Website. Please comment below and make sure you take advantage of your Free Internet Marketing Support in the For A Few Dollars More forum support area.

I signed up with AdlandPro a few months ago and advertised a product with little success. Watching this again has inspired me to try again – this time I’ll target more than one product and put more effort into writing a catchy ad. Cheers for the video Sean.

Hi Sean,

This is great! I didnt know that there was free advertising out there!

As I have said before, I have been banned from Google Adwords so this will be fantastic!

Thanks :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed the video Sean and will go check out the links.

I must admit I was a bit overawed when I thought I would have to suddenly make up my own ad but, further into the video I learnt how I can overcome this.

On my way to sourcing see you later!

I have been using AdlandPro for quite a while – since last year. They always notify you if someone looks at your ad which is handy. Except, with some of my older ones I used tr.im as my cloaker – and it’s now defunct.

I haven’t made any sales – but bit.ly does show traffic stats etc

Make sure you use bit.ly!

Rita July 8, 2010 at 2:50 pm

I too have been using adlandpro I have had a few looks but over a couple of months it is still only a handful, am trying again.
Being time poor at present I find I am missing doing things that were on the TO DO list.

I just joined ICTW.adpost – its a good site for free classified ads and better still it has an affiliate program that actually gives you a mini website for you to promote.
I built a page on my website about free online advertising if you want to have a look at
http://www.affiliatemarketingcentral.net/free-advertising-online

And, I haven’t even run an ad yet! But will now for my rose growing e-book

Thanks Jean – it still needs a lot of work – more so now with all the information I am gleaning from Learn and Earn. Feel free to grab any of the free resources and tools – one that is good is the Directory Submitter – for getting backlinks.

Hi Sean,

One more way to do I.M. like Pink Floyd sang just another brick in the wall. So many strategies so many angles – the journey continues.

Reply

Peter Damien Ryan July 9, 2010 at 8:15 am

That’s a good analogy – another brick in the wall. It is all about one step at a time, slowly building and cementing the iseas, tactics and so on until we have a complete building – as it were.

This Learn and Earn comp is proving to be a good builders yard for all the construction materials we need

Hi Sean,

I am still amazed by the opportunities that Internet Marketing offer to us. With minimal investment (computer, internet and my time) I can achieve heaps. Without my own product and without any website.

Thanks again for showing us that there are no limits to what we can achieve!

I learned something this morning – how to sell a product without having your own website. How great is that, that ANYBODY can do this.

I do have a website and like the idea of not showing the affiliate link especially as the list grows. On to the next video.

Reply

Peter Damien Ryan July 9, 2010 at 7:08 am

Don’t forget that if you use bit.ly as your shortener it also gives you stats – numbers of hits, where from etc.

Do try the ICTWadpost too – it has an affiliate program as well as free classifieds – god parcel

Hi Sean, do give AdlandPro a go – its free so you can’t lose. You get 3 free ads a day that you are allowed to submit.

Also give the other two recommendations a try too – I just joined them the other day.

And, join their affiliate programs – you never know, you might make some revenue and, like Sean R, having the programs means you can offer the liinks to your readers as another service from you.

Jackie Stenhouse July 10, 2010 at 9:46 am

I have adds submitted on adlandpro but am a little confused. If I use the free section, do I need to resubmit my adds daily or will they keep running indefinately?

The video above has given some quick and easy tips on selling affiliate products without having a website. Thanks Sean.

The AdlandPro ads seem to run indefinitely Jackie – unline ICTWAdpost which runs them for 30 days.
I occasionally get notice from AdlandPro that I have had a visitor to an ad I placed last year.

Actually, I hadn’t thought about the running time.

What I do is place my 3 free AdlandPro ads on a daily basis and then forget them. They are often on the same subject with a twist – so fugure I cover all I want to without worrying about renewals

Jayne Pleysier July 16, 2010 at 12:11 am

Hi Jackie. Reading the T&C’s it seems that you can have 20 ads and that when you “add” anthoer ad it will bump your oldest one off the list.

Selling Affiliate Products without! a website you can’t get any cheaper than that , and hiding the affiliate link is good to know now I believe some actually do bypass the links just to stop you earning a commission and is a bit sad it’s better to secure the link for sure.

Peter Damien Ryan July 12, 2010 at 7:18 am

Yes, unfortunately they do – and it really doesn’t save them much anyway – but some folks just don’t like the idea of paying fairly. This is one reason why Clickbank disguises your hoplink – the other reason is to stop the unscrupulous accessing your clickbank name

Reply

Bernadette Hay July 12, 2010 at 2:15 am

Some people would try and bypass the link not just to stop you getting a commission but because they link it may be cheaper.

I watched the video about Cloaking Your Affiliate Link. I follow the principle of how it’s work but was still a bit double dutch. I will have to watch it another couple of times and I think once I do the ‘do’ bit it will fall into place better.

Reply

Peter Damien Ryan July 12, 2010 at 7:23 am

It’s really easy Bernadette. If you use bit.ly.com – you just enter the full URL into the box and click – and presto your shortened (and cloaked) link is there.

Sometimes you can use them as anchor text if in a hurry

I recommend that you keep an excel sheet or word doc with the URLs and their bit.lys so that if you want to use the link on another page – you have it at your fingertips.

Bit.lys stats will show you sources (which page or referrals) performance and places etc. Helps target better

Reply

Bernadette Hay July 12, 2010 at 8:15 am

Thanks Peter. I do understand the bit.ly bit as I’ve already created some. That bit’s quite clever really.

It’s just getting it put into the blog etc. I have joined the affiliate proramme so that will be a good one to test it on.

Good idea to put the shortcuts into an excel spreadsheet to save re-looking up – especially when I get lots more :-D

Peter Damien Ryan July 12, 2010 at 8:58 am

Hi Sean,
I’m inspired by watching the video. Thanks to you, I’m a member of AdlandPro Community and have noticed some really good ads on there by members.

When I have a free ad running I’m notified by AdlandPro when it’s been viewed by someone. I think that’s excellent. When I have a definite product I see possibilities and know I can do well advertising on this site.

Watching the video my question was is it worth it upgrading? and how effective is it? Reading through the comments above it seems that there are some mixed results, but those who have tried before and havent had much success, but are willing to try again indicates that they have some belief that it could work. I have written three ads (it is great the number of characters you can enter) and will go in there again tomorrow and will hopefully get some results. Really interested in trying something new….and FREE!

It’s really exciting and motivating too watching all the videos and realising the possibilites for Affiliate Marketing that are out there.

I’ve used these Ad sites before, promoting my own website, so there is absolutely no reason why you cannot make money with a cloaked link that redirects to an affiliate product.
Of course, the higher the traffic the ad site gets, the greater your targeted visitor numbers and therefore leads and eventually sales. Nice Blog, Sean!
