I get a lot of emails. Preferably, people comment in the blog and everyone can benefit from the answer. My philosophies that are inspired heavily by Dr Demartini, Napoleon Hill, Kurek Ashley, Wallace Wattles and many more, do challenge a lot of people.
Why Isn’t This Working For Me?
Here is an example of an email I got from a lady last week: (she will remain nameless)
“I wish I could have $1M this week! Funny hey! But it is true! That is what I wish and hope for so much for a specific reason. Now, come on, you know you can’t do that with nothing!!”
This is very true, indeed! Now, I would have loved to get that response in the “Comments Section” below the post. Not in my email. My blogs are here to help lots of people and the best way I can do that is to make them public.
Million Dollar Thoughts
This was my response:
“You are at a place in life that you have traveled to. Your destination is a direct result of your actions. You, and no one else, is to thank for that. Everything you have is a result of the way you think and the way you perceive life. If you want a Million dollars, you need to have Million dollar thoughts. They don’t just come overnight. They are a result of abundant thoughts, actions and later reality. Wealth breeds more wealthy thoughts and poverty breed poverized thoughts.
The fastest way to change anything is to change your thoughts.
So you are right. You can’t “do that with nothing”. You need to have the basis first and that is abundant thoughts followed by abundant action.”
Unfortunately, my email bounced and the lady didn’t receive it…
Confucius Say:
To quote old man Confucius (I’m sure it was him), there is an old Chinese saying that sums up the above paragraphs quite nicely:
If you want to see your past, look at your current results.
If you want to see you future, look at your current actions.
Think abundant thoughts and you will eventually have abundant actions.
Have a most outstanding day

This is the intro to the Mindset Mastery eBook. I wrote it as a tribute to one of the foremost inspirations for thousands of self improvement and motivational coaches across the globe.
A tribute to Napoleon Hill - by Sean Rasmussen
The year 2000 was a big year for me. My second son was born, I was constantly working away from home to “make a living” and I was asking a lot of questions about life. “Is this as good as it gets?” I asked myself. My family finances were going backwards and the harder I worked, it seemed, the bigger the financial hole seemed to get.
I would be away from home, at work, for 6 weeks at a time and have 1 week off. I missed my son’s first words, his first steps and didn’t give him the opportunity to call me “Dad” when he was ready for it. On my one week off from work, I’d lap it all up and my heart was torn to bits every time I had to leave again for work. I called work a “Paid Prison Sentence” and vowed to make some drastic changes. Something had to change for me to experience change. I gave myself no option.
When my workmates went to the pub or a concert or anything social after work, I was in my little caravan reading books; Self-help books. 2000 was the catalyst year for my Mindset Mastery to start kicking in. I discovered Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Anthony Robbins and many more inspiring authors but foremost I found Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
My mind went into overdrive. I had moments of “truth” come to me. It’s something I cannot describe. You will have to experience it yourself. I genuinely hope you discover it and reading this book will help you. The strategies suggested by Mr. Hill have been applied. With a blind faith in my own ability along with further “Financial Education”, I have experienced results I previously only dared to dream about.
I am now an active supporter of many charities, many of which would not benefit from me hadn’t I read Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich. The applied “mindset changes” and “calls to action” that I initiated have made an incredible impact on my personal life, family life, business associates and various charities.
I have a personal short term goal of donating $10,000 per month to charity. When I set this target, I had no idea of “how”, I just knew “what” the desired result was.
If you in any way find empowerment in this book and genuinely believe your lifestyle can and will improve from the ideas herein, please consider supporting a charity of your own choice with a portion of the increased financial rewards that you enjoy from these ideas. Napoleon Hill devoted years of his life to benefit mankind in such a way, even he possibly didn’t imagine the magnitude of it. His desired outcome was known to him. He had the passion and a burning desire to achieve an outcome that will be an asset for mankind over many years to come.
Napoleon Hill, I salute you!

When you’re running a race, you tend to focus on the pounding of the pavement RIGHT NOW. You’re thinking about how hard your lungs are working, how much you’re sweating, and how hard this really is. But if you were to change your focus away from the painful ‘right now’ and started focusing on the finish line and the food, you might have an easier time.
Focusing on the end result
This is the same for those bigger goals you have in your mind. Focusing on the end results helps you take pressure off of yourself to perform well now and allows you to enjoy the journey. If you want to lose weight, for example, stop thinking about how unappetizing and unsatisfying your meal is going to be, but rather think about how thin your thighs will be in a few months. It makes this one meal seem a lot less frugal.
Whenever you find yourself dwelling on the right now, begin to shift your thinking with this question: but what is my goal? When you retrain your brain to think of the future, you can change the way the synapses are firing and it will make your responsibilities right now seem less like chores and more like helpful tasks.
Following through
Picture yourself follow through on any task you might need to do during that day that you tend to avoid. If you have a big project at work, think about how good it will feel to be done with it – for example.
At the beginning of each day and at the end of each day, you should stop to think about the results of your work – even if you can’t see them yet. Picture that healthy body, think about that high bank account, etc. Start placing your focus on the very end of your journey and don’t worry so much about the sweat on your face right now. It means success in your life. It’s going to be worth it.
Have a most outstanding day

A woman once decided to buy a lottery ticket with the last $1 that she had in her purse. And instead of simply going up to the machine, putting in her dollar and scratching off the ticket, she started by jumping up and down and yelling about how great it was that she won. She hadn’t bought the ticket and still celebrated her win. Sure, she looked like a fool to everyone else, but when she later bought a ticket and won $50, she realized that she was onto something. She was building an air of success around her.
Create positive energy
By celebrating your success before you actually have it, you are changing the energy that is around you. Adding more positive feelings to your life will draw in positive things toward you. So, by celebrating something that you want to happen, you are encouraging it to happen. And while you might not get positive results each time you do this, you will find that good things do happen to those who are grateful and excited to have them.
How you can celebrate now:
- Buy the size clothes you want to wear when you lose weight
- Keep a journal about how great your life is now that you’ve achieved a certain goal (even if you haven’t done it yet)
- Put up a sign of the exercise goals you want to reach with a note saying that you’re about to go beyond these goals
You need to find ways to bring in the energy of possibility into your dreams and your goals. Whether this means calling your friends and telling them that you ARE doing something or if it means that you keep a blog online of the way your life has changed since achieving a certain goal (even when you haven’t yet), you need to shift your mind into a ‘Yes I can‘ mode. And celebrating before you get started is more fun than waiting anyway.
Have a most outstanding day
