This weeks SEO Challenge comes from Queensland, Australia. It is called the Brisbane Internet Education Workshop and is held from stage. Our challenge is to get a search term number 1 on Google within 24 hours. 2 weeks ago, I was given the SEO Challenge over the phone while I was on holiday in Vanuatu. The term was: Port Vila, Vanuatu Holiday. I was a long way from Brisbane and had to compete with the Vanuatu Government for top spot along with Getaway, The Great Outdoors and many more established websites.
Google Top Rankings
We achieved number 2 on Google for “Port Vila Vanuatu Holiday” within 6 hours and had the highly acclaimed Top Spot the following morning, within 16 hours. Using our Internet Education strategies that we are teaching at the Brisbane Workshop this weekend, we knocked the Vanuatu Government site, Getaway, established holiday sites and The Great Outdoors from their top spots on Google.
Mind you, it was quite a challenge!
The Brisbane Workshop
This time, the Brisbane Workshop has provided some more fun and innuendo. Shaun took our Internet Education to a new level by making extra fun of Sean Rasmussen (me) from stage and slipped in some great jokes. Well, he thought they were funny, anyway 
So I have done a little educated work in a program called Photoshop. Man, I love the Internet. I can’t wait to show this article to the beautiful people of this Brisbane Workshop.
Internet Education Twins
So, I located a poster of Matt and Shaun from the vault of The Smart Systems Network. They are internet marketing brothers from Echucha, Victoria, and with a “little help” from a program called PhotoShop, I proudly publish this image of them: The Internet Education Twins
Matt is the little brother and Shaun likes to be the Alpha Male, so I let him take Arnold Schwarzenegger’s spot in the poster. I wonder what else is in store for future sessions? This could be fun! What a brilliant weekend. My husband David and I (with some of our kids) got to see first hand in Brisbane how easy your system is to implement on line. Congratulations on getting to number one place so quickly (and not having to pay for drinks!!)
My husband David was so inspired by your story about giving up your J.O.B…he has now set himself a goal of giving up his Job by 30th September 2009 because he is so sick and tired of missing out on our boys life.

Brisbane Internet Education Workshop must be a fairly good term to rank for if all you boys are getting a run for your money.
After all brisbane internet must be something that is of great relevance to some people or else why would anyone else want to rank for it.
Not only that but education workshop, I mean is that not the be all and end all of learning, it sure is to me so I know when to pay attention.

It’s good that people are keen to learn, but it’s going to be a big challenge if their access to technology is so limited. I’m afraid that inadequate internet access is a standard issue in health-care in Australia – it happens in NSW too.
I was there for this one and I remember thinking that there was no way you would be able to outrank that .gov site in under 24 hours. I remember I had to drive back up the coast so I couldn’t hang around for drinks afterwards unfortunately but I learnt so much. Thank you.
