Hi Renee,

You make an excellent point. While ever you're still making excuses about why something can't be done, you're not serious about making it happen. We hold ourselves back.

I think we hold onto our excuses because deep down somewhere inside; we're still not sure we can achieve the impossible. It would be a lot easier if we just got on with it.

Sheer determination along with absolute belief is the ticket to success and wealth. A refusal to take no for an answer and removing the word "impossible" from the vocabulary is an important step in creating the right attitude.

Hi Sean

It is said that necessity is the mother of all invention and this really is revealed in your post today.

If those men had not found a solution, their jobs would have been on the line. They came to an impasse with Mr Ford and he was not going to back down. It shows that he himself was a man who never said never. (I think James Bond was the other one lol)

I like to hear stories like these because it proves that the human imagination is not limited at any time, just our concepts about how things are or are not, that is until we push the boundaries.

Never say never folks because too many never's will shut your creativity and spontaneity down forever

Blessings

I have done similar things with my staff. Sometimes I would hear "It can't be done" and I would send them away with the task of doing it anyway. It always worked.

I used to tell people that the best way to make sure I did something, was to tell me I couldn't. Then I had to look closer, and learn to make my own choices, as one of the side-effects of that notion was negating a support structure. Breaking through the paradigm ( or 'matrix', as it were) of un-noticed ceilings and walls is still an interesting process.
