Hi Elly,

I love that quote. It says to me that there is value in every experience. Obviously some are so horrific that we can't see the value in them at the time. But hopefully as we get some distance from it, we'll see the benefit that wouldn't have been there without it.

This is also one of my favourite quotes.

Thanks Sean

I have been a Napoleon Hill fan from my teenage years (not too long ago!) and my TAGR book is a bit dog eared now.

One of my favourite quotes form Napoleon Hill is ' Every adversity, every failure, and every heartache carries with it the Seed of an equivalent or a greater Benefit."

This quote runs parallel with another "every cloud has a silver lining"

Not enough praise can be dished out on this extraordinary man.

Blessings
Elly

I need to get this book. I think it would be a fascinating study besides being a great way to learn to reprogram the mind.

Very true, Renee.

Another possibility is that, most of these men had very little education, and they had to learn on the streets, so to speak, and on their feet. But the point I'm making is that because they didn't have much schooling, they weren't moulded, conformed and taught to think like everyone else. Thinking outside the box came naturally to them, as a survival skill.

Just a thought!

Cheers,

Pete

Rarely do we see someone born with abundance of worldly possessions and material wealth become a highly inspiring and well known motivational author. - This is true but why do you think it is?

Do you think born wealth is a key to failure or do you think people born rich are too consumed with money that they don't make the time to find themselves and their passion?
