Success Communication Blog Update

by Sean Rasmussen on November 14, 2007

Things have been busy and lots of fun. My Success Communication Blog hasn’t got the attention it deserves (from me) due to some interstate travel. I like to play with investments like the stock market and property. I say play because it is fun. I went to Sydney to see my friend Mark Rolton last weekend in regards to his specialty: Property Options. In only a few days, I am releasing a website project that I’ve been working on for over 2 years: Wealth Creation Affiliate.  Also, the new look Sean Rasmussen Blog is hopefully online next week. So it’s all happening around here and life is good!

What Is Money, Really?

In my last post I mentioned an Empowered Identity. While attending Mark Roltons property options seminar last week, I felt very much empowered. He went through an exercise about mindset that I will share with you in my next post. It’s called: What Is Money, Really? It was very powerful and I hope you will enjoy it. With an open mind, you will hopefully totally change the way you think about money. In a good way.

Until then… have fun

I am glad I am not the only one who has competing priorities push important things down the list.

Being committed to a particular goal involves prioritising that goal over other stuff that I could be doing. One of the key things I find is to fill life up with the important things first, rather than letting life get filled up with unimportant or low priority tasks. Otherwise there will be no room left for the really important stuff.

I experienced this recently when I attended 2 day wealth creation seminar in Sydney. Rather than sticking around for the second day, I went to a dedicated internet marketing seminar with Armand Morin. As much as the other wealth creation methods would have been great to know about, internet marketing is a much higher priority for me at the moment, so the choice was an easy one to make

But sometimes the choice isn’t so obvious and even time to completely relax needs to be prioritised in order to keep me sane.

I wish I had kept a link to this quote. It was after one of the stock market crashes. A reporter asked the chairman of the NYSE ‘What is money?’ The Chairman said “Money is a few blips on a computer screen’.

What Is Money ?? It is the means by which all people exchange something they have for something they need or want.
At the dawn of time the “Money” may have been a rock, an animal skin, a spear or just about anything one could trade for something else.

Hi Sean,

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has trouble getting everything done. Sometimes I have conflicting things of importance and it can be really hard to make the right decision about where to spend my time.

I find that it’s a constant juggling act and I can only hope that I will get much better at prioritizing. :)

What is money? That could be timeless question.

Money is different things to different people.

I will have to wait for the post to find your definition

Agree with you here Gee. Money can have such a different meaning to people because it can have such an impact on peoples lives; both good and bad.

For me (for the current time), money means comfort and security. While there are other factors that add to comfort and security, it is a major component.

A great lesson encapsulated in this post, Sean. And, like the above commentators, it is good to know that choices re priorities are an on-going task, and not just a condition confined to those just starting on a new path.

It’s good to see that you are always busy, and it’s great to see how much passion and fun you have injected in your life. And to your question “what is money” – for me it’s energy and a means of exchange.

Hi Sean,
To know how to prioritize I believe is an art in itself and a great skill I hope can be learned without to much trouble. I’m sure I am in the right place to achieve the desired results. The excellent content supplied here is a strong indication of that.

I am very interested to read your next article on “what is money” I believe money supplies freedom of choice, and I believe it allows for dignity in ones life. What else though I’m waiting with baited breath to find out.
