Mindset Mastery 43 – Revelations

Mindset Mastery ebook by Sean RasmussenWe have covered points like Magnetizing Your Mind and being Captains Of Our Souls. Now things are getting really interesting. It’s time for some revelations. We have come to a point in Mindset Mastery where we begin to see the principles revealed—those that Hill has deduced by studying what makes rich men (and women) rich. By this point in the book a sampling of the principles usually begins to show itself, as Napoleon Hill goes on to say here:

Mastering Your Financial Fate

Little by little, the truth in this book has unfolded itself; by now it should be apparent, certain, that the principles described in this book hold the secret to mastering our financial fate.

We are now ready to examine the first of these principles. As you read, stay open-minded and remember, these principles are not the invention of any single man or woman. The principles were gathered from the life experiences of more than 500 men who actually accumulated riches in huge amounts; men who are icons of wealth and economic history; men who began in poverty, with little formal education, and (originally, at least) without influence. The principles worked for these men. You, too, can put them to work for your own lifelong benefit and lasting wealth creation.

You will find it easy, not hard, to do.

The Business End

Before you read the next chapter in the book, understand that it conveys factual information which might easily change your entire financial destiny, just as it has so definitely brought enormous changes to the lives of the two people described.

This is where things start to get exciting. Up to here Napoleon Hill’s stories have been interesting and shown a bit entertaining, too, but from here on out is where we start our real wealth creation education. This is the part where we start to get the goods; where we really begin to learn what it is that makes rich men rich.

You will not want to miss the rest of this book. We’ll even begin to step up our efforts here soon so that we can move through our exploration of the book and the principles more quickly. Hang on to your hats! It’s just about to get [more] interesting!

I will see you back here every Monday and Friday for the continuation of the Mindset Mastery series.

    Hi Sean,

I love ‘Think and Grow Rich’ and I’ve really enjoyed your posts. They help to keep me focused and on the right track, moving forward. They just help to reinforce the lessons that I’m learning to apply.

I can’t wait to get started on the next chapters.

  4. Hi Sean

In September 2008, did you imagine that this blog would be what it is today?

  5. Hi Sean,
It’s starting to get so interesting. We are about to gather the principle from the life experiences of 500 men who have actually accumulated great wealth and are icons in the community as shining examples of their success. Men who began in poverty and who had very little formal education.

Am looking forward to the next post to learn the principles that create wealth.

  6. There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of applying principles and techniques and strategies; actually doing something to make ‘it’ all feel worthwhile. My attention is fully focussed now, I am ready.

  7. Again we see reference to 500 men. I wonder if he interviewed any women? What about the wives of these 500 men. Being married to such men made them wealthy as well! What qualities did they possess that convinced these rich and powerful men to marry them? Napoleon could have become even richer if he had written a book, ‘Think and grow rich for women’!

  8. Hi Wal,
Things were very different back then before The Pill and washing by hand, cloth nappies, etc. Woman already had more than a full time job with the hours put in raising a family and it was the man’s duty to feed the large hungry families they had back then. It wasn’t that long ago either.

Also, men do think differently to woman so the type of research carried out could have been much harder using a mixed group of 500 people. Perhaps a T&GR book written exclusively for woman could be a project down the line for an inspiring woman entrepreneur.

  9. Hi Sean

I have lost count at how many times I have read TAGR however, I am now re reading it as I understand the principles so clearly now and I can focus with full attention.

I know the results I will achieve from doing the exercises in the book will again transform my life in a positively massive way.

I know I will gain huge value this time around visiting a dearly beloved friend, Mr Hill, through his life changing book. I am taking action every day and can feel my focus honing in more and more on my image as I see myself in a new, rich and rewarding life.

Thankyou Sean for these wonderful posts.

    • Hi Elly,

I’ve read Think and Grow Rich a few times but it wasn’t until I started to read Sean’s Mindset Mastery series that I really started to put it all together. Before it was like I had all the pieces of the puzzle but they weren’t on the board.

Now, after reading Sean’s blog I feel like I have a beautiful picture. It makes a huge difference to my success.

  10. G’day Sean,
I have read Think and Grow Rich many times over the years, but it’s only in recent times the message is really soaking into my being, especially over the last month when I read Chapter 4 ” The Power of Auto Suggestion ” aloud to myself late each night. [ As per the instructions given in the 2nd last paragraph of that chapter.]

It seems to be leading me to better application, concentration, less wasted non productive time, and a feeling of Faith that my written goals will be easily attained. After all, with over 500 successful people researched for this information it is, in the words of the Mastercard Advertisement, ” PRICELESS ”

I’m not ignoring The Secret Law of Attraction either, and listen to at least half of it every day. The two books are so compatible with each other there is never any contradiction in their messages.

Bless you for making them available to all of us.

The revelations in Napolean Hill’s book are nothing short of astounding. Your contribution, Sean, in bringing the information forward into this day and age is, as someone mentioned, priceless. I am eager to continue on with this series and with the book.

  12. This article is a real tease – but also enticing! The Mindset Mastery series is a revelation and extremely thought provoking – and helpful.
