Hey Sean,

Having grown up within a farming environment myself, I know just how persistent sheep can be. As a kid, the offer of a pet was foremost in your mind, but it wasn’t until both the lamb and yourself were older that you realised there was another offer on hand: wool money! Which us kids usually got around Christmas time for buying Christmas presents. And of course, if you were lucky enough to raise a ewe, then you also got her off-spring both for the wool and the selling. It only just occurred to me that I was a little entrepreneur back then. Only thing is I didn’t treat it or work it like a business. I guess that is because I wasn’t passionate about being a sheep farmer.

As Tom wrote, though, Peter did handle him well (with bribery, as well! *LOL*) And he DID get off lightly! My pet ram loved to butt heads with just about anything that was in his way (our pet emu, the horses).

Stick to beer, Peter, whiskey’s got the better of you. I couldn’t see the blooper. Did I miss something? All I saw was a man and some sheep behaving exactly as I would expect in those circumstances. Reminds me of some mums who come to see me in my consulting room with their 4 year olds saying ’see how badly behaved he is?’ ‘No’, I reply, ‘he is behaving like a normal 4 year old’.

Whiskey definitely was friskey! I was expecting that he would make a groin height charge towards Peter. Or perhaps I just watched too much Funniest Home Video show as a kid. But Peter handled him well.
