Mindset Mastery 85 – The Dormant Arises

Mindset Mastery eBookSuccess lies dormant in the minds of many—in all, really, except those who have already awakened that power within.

Dormant No Longer

Somewhere in your constitution (perhaps in the cells of your brain) the seed of achievement lies dormant; if aroused and put into action, it will carry you to heights higher than you might ever have hoped to reach.

You can arouse the genius sleeping inside your brain, and let it drive you upward to whatever goal you wish to achieve.

Success At All Ages & Stages

Abraham Lincoln was a failure at everything he tried until he was well past the age of forty. He was a Mr. Nobody from Nowhere until a great experience came into his life and aroused the sleeping genius within, and gave the world one of its truly great men. That “experience” was mixed with the emotions of sorrow and love. It came to him through Anne Rutledge, the only woman he ever truly loved.

It is a known fact that the emotion of love is closely related to the state of mind known as faith; the reason for that is that Love comes very close to translating people’s thought impulses into their spiritual equivalent. During his work of research, the author discovered, from the analysis of the life-work and achievements of hundreds of accomplished men, that the influence of a woman’s love backed nearly every one of them. The emotion of love, in the human heart and brain, creates a favorable field of magnetic attraction, causing an influx of the higher and finer vibrations afloat all around us.

Behind Every Great Man…

…Is a great woman, as the saying goes; of course, it is true for love in all its forms, but you get the meaning. Some of the higher emotions like love and faith are as close as we can come to translating thought into being. Cultivating a whole-life of successful emotions results in ever-better success and well-being.

Hi Sean,

I think this particular post makes you think. That is a good thing of course. I look forward to the follow on to this as this feels like such a precursor. :-)

Have an outstanding weekend and…”pursue your goals with certainty”.

Regards, Eileen.

Hi Sean,

I feel like the seeds of success have been laying dormant in me. I believe with all my heart that as I consistently learn to direct my mind using principles such as the law of auto-suggestion; success will be just around the corner.

I agree that love is a powerful emotion which drives us to achieve things that we wouldn’t ordinarily do. We can endure anything for love. I know, for me, I work to make life better for my family.

Love for person or passion for my life goal. That strong emotion helps my brain to really clearly remember and keep me focused.
I think it’s fascinating that the age old wisdom that is reflected in our sayings step by step gets confirmed by science. As we are so science driven that should help us to accept and use it more widely, and put passion and love into what we want to achieve.

Hi Renee,

We should put love and passion into everything we do as I think it produces a better result than if we just casually care about it. It makes sense that love is the key to arousing the dormant seeds of achievement in all of us.

Love makes you feel like you can do anything and you will do anything for the people you love.

A seed lying dormant that’s aroused into action… It’s like a bull at a gate when your soul is awakened.

Hi Sean,
This post is designed to make one think.

It’s an interesting thought to think that certain emotions, or a certain state of mind, can possibly stimulate a seed of achievement in other areas away from the original focus.

This line of thinking could be opened up to a lot of possibilities….

The first picture that came to mind when I started to read this post was Jack of Beanstalk fame, planting a seed and hanging on for dear life as the tip of the sprout headed skywards, In some ways this reflects where I am up to, I guess, hanging on tor dear life while scenarios go whooshing by, with soon-to-be discovered vistas awaiting.

I have to agree that love is a key – for its transcends, extinguishes and dissolves anything before it, all the while with the smile getting bigger and bigger. This is what well-being feels like.

Cherie is great. Is that why Sean is great? Is the reverse true? Behind every great woman is a great man? My wife is great.
