Mindset Mastery 77 – Deceiving Your Way To Wealth

by Sean Rasmussen on January 23, 2009

Mindset Mastery eBookNow, there’s a sensational title, yes? A bit paradoxical to other lessons learned around here, but at least I grabbed your attention….

If you recall, in the last Mindset Mastery post Hill was telling us that, just as we can easily train our subconscious to failure, we can “deceive” it and train it to high success, too. Here, he goes on to explain just how that can be done.

Deceive Your Way To Success

To make this “deceit” more realistic, conduct yourself as you would if you were already in possession of the material thing you are demanding, when you access your subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind will translate into its physical equivalent, using the most direct and practical resources available, any order it is given in a state of belief, or faith that the order will be carried out.

With the basic information you’ve been given up until this point, you should have enough of a starting point to experiment and practice with to develop the ability to mix faith with any order given to the subconscious mind.

Perfection will come through practice. It cannot come by merely reading instructions.

Wealth By Association

If it is true that a person may become a criminal by association with crime, (and this is a known fact), it is equally true that a person may develop faith by voluntarily suggesting to the subconscious mind that he/she has faith. Ultimately, the mind will come to take on the nature of the influences which dominate it. When you understand this truth you will know why it is essential for you to encourage positive emotions as dominating forces of your mind, and discourage –eliminate negative emotions.

A mind dominated by positive emotions becomes a favorable stage for the state of mind known as faith. A positively dominated mind may, at will, give the subconscious mind instructions, which it will accept and act upon immediately.

In The Seat Of Control

Thus, by developing your subconscious to be positive by default, you open the door for faith to prevail. That’s a far better fate than the alternative, and a far more productive path to take. This would be a good time to go back and re-familiarize yourself with the concept of faith and emotions as we start to get some real advisement for developing mindset mastery. Take some time to reacquaint yourself with the first few chapters of the Mindset Mastery book, and/or revisit some of the preceding Mindset Mastery posts.

Hi Sean,

I think deceiving your way to success is just acknowledging that your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between a real or imagined event. So, it makes complete sense to deceive your mind into believing you already have fulfilled a certain desire in order to get your mind to help create it in real life. It’s genius.

I think this is the most powerful lesson I have learned so far. The key is that I need to learn to consistently apply the lesson in order to be able to access it whenever I want.

I fully agree with you Jazz.
What I find amazing is that Neuro Science is on that track finally as well, proving that it is actually having a physical impact on our brain if we keep visualizing things like they are reality. We do change our brain, neuron by neuron, and pave the way to success :)

Yes, that’s a cool title. Trick our mind, why not? If it can’t tell the difference anyway! And it’s all for good.
