"[M]ost people never learn the art of transferring their strongest emotions into constructive dreams". Beautiful words, Sean.

When meet someone who at first may appear like a negative, whinging, fed-up person, sometimes when I just listen, I discover they're actually passionate, firey, but frustrated.

Most people don't want to be around someone who carries on and on. But if you just listen and observe without judging - you actually might find someone with strong emotions who doesn't know how to use that energy constructively.

And wouldn't it be special if you could help them, in some small way, to turn that energy into something great...

If our starting position would determine our future everybody born rich would have a brilliant life and everybody not so rich would have a not so great life. But as we can see every day everywhere this is not the case.
There is enough stories about people coming from hardship or desperate situations making it really big, and people with a rich upbringing failing miserably.
So no more excuses for any of us - if someone else can do it, I can do it as well :)

Hi Sean,

Your past does not have to be your future. We get to choose every day how we will spend that time. We get to choose what we think about and what we focus on.

Sometimes what we think is the worst thing to happen to us; is actually a blessing in disguise. The goodness is not always apparent at first but I really believe that we need to be able to find the positives in any situation. The quicker we can find the positives; the quicker we can ease the pain.

I need help. Just realised that all the time I made excuses about not doing this or this, it is fear of success, because if I am successful, need commitment. How do I overcome this fear?

Hi there Sean, TrudyVan here
and Yes you are right Sean, Hard life builds a strong character and the ability to adapt and think outside of the norm because life has taught you this lesson.

Bad life does not mean bad future. The future is alive with possibilities. As you give so shall you attract.
