Unthink what you know?

Depends on what you know, or more to the point - what your core beliefs are. If you know a lot of facts and also know (belief) that you can achieve the goals that you set yourself, what reason is there to un-know something?

A good education shouldn't be a disadvantage, only limiting beliefs are.

So, what is it that you want to un-learn?

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm with you. Nothing is impossible. We can create the life of our dreams. We can overcome the past. It doesn't have to define us or our lives.

We can definitely unlearn the things we picked up from our parents and our families about money and success. Whatever their attitudes and feelings are about these things; we don't have to live them.

We are free to make our own choices for what works in our life. Anything is possible when you make having a successful mindset a way of life.

For some of us, it's a matter of unlearning the negative patterns that were taught early in life. Nothing is impossible though for the person who is determined. Mind set is everything.

With all that I've read, including an original reprint of Think and Grow Rich, it makes me feel that I'm coming from behind the 8 ball. I was an academically inclined student (dare I say it, I actually ENJOYED my school years, for the most part!) and when you read of these people that have gained their wealth, they have come from poor backgrounds, not particularly, scholastically successful.

Does that mean I'll have to work harder to unthink what I know?

Just a thought!

Pete

Hi Jill
You are so right there are so many who stop trying because it can be hard work and nobody doing things the right way will achieve it overnight.
