Mindset Mastery 1 – A Tribute To Napoleon Hill

by Sean Rasmussen on April 24, 2008

Mindset Mastery eBookTo reward the readers of Mindset Mastery, I have put together an initial 30 part series about the book. I will run through the eBook, week by week, and discuss the entirety of the classic writings of the legendary Napoleon Hill. Years of research was put into the original version by Napoleon Hill and this book is considered one of the original classic self improvement books written.

Mindset Mastery

Mindset Mastery is an updated and modernized version of the Napoleon Hill empowerment and wealth creation classic Think and Grow Rich. It is important for me that you appreciate the modernization of this classic. I have at no time attempted to detract from Napoleon Hill’s original message and have put in great efforts to keep everything relevant. You will find my tribute to Napoleon Hill in the intro of the Mindset Mastery eBook.

Create Wealth And Live Better

If you have downloaded your copy this book on the Sean Rasmussen Blog or at Universal Wealth Creation you will see that the very fundamental basis for this book is this: setting the right frame of mind in order to create wealth and live better. It’s a concept that seems so simple, yet so elusive, to so many of us; until, that is, we stumble into that day when we decide we’ve simply had enough of the struggle, stress, and strife of this modern age, and we resolve to do something about it.

In fact, there is simplicity to living well and creating wealth for your own. You do not need to be a Harvard or Cambridge educated doctor—you don’t even need to be a college graduate. Wealth is there for the building and taking for all who achieve the right mastery of their mindset. That is exactly what this book was written to illustrate, and that is the basis Universal Wealth Creation and the 21st Century Academy of Jamie McIntyre were built upon.

Learn From Napoleon Hill

For many of us, all we need is a little direction, someone to help us on our way. That is what my websites and blogs are here for, and this book is just one of the ways I have devised to help you reach your wealthy goals. I hope that you will take the time to download Mindset Mastery; read it through, and follow along with me here as we walk through this great wealth-building classic together, and learn from Napoleon Hill what he learned from some of the greatest and wealthiest men of all time.

I will see you back here Monday and Thursday every week for the continuation of the Mindset Mastery series.

I know a few self-made millionaires and they all have many mental qualities in common, a certain mindset, if you like, such as persistence and decision making skills.

Hi Wal,

I think the great thing about these qualities is that we all have the same opportunity to develop them. We all have the same chance to harness the power of our minds and create the lives of our dreams. It just takes a willingness to learn the principles and apply them.

Hi Sean, I am learning that there is no doubt that financial success is all about mindset and not about how talented one may be in any given profession or trade. Mindset is everything but is not that easy to master to start with. “Practice makes perfect” and this article is great for helping to understand how to be on the right path to financial success.

Hi Jill
You are so right there are so many who stop trying because it can be hard work and nobody doing things the right way will achieve it overnight.

Hey Jazz, from the amount of comments you are leaving as part of Sean’s competition, it definitely seems that you have the motivational dial cranked way up high and are rapidly getting through the great stuff that Sean and Napoleon Hill have to offer.

And thanks again Sean for making this book publicly available to help people in need of a little motivation and guidance. I’m pretty fired up already, but I look forward to walking through Napoleon Hill’s teachings with you.

One line in particular, caught my eye in this post. “…there is simplicity to living well and creating wealth for your own.” This feels so true; when it feels right there just doesn’t seem the need for clutter.

With all that I’ve read, including an original reprint of Think and Grow Rich, it makes me feel that I’m coming from behind the 8 ball. I was an academically inclined student (dare I say it, I actually ENJOYED my school years, for the most part!) and when you read of these people that have gained their wealth, they have come from poor backgrounds, not particularly, scholastically successful.

Does that mean I’ll have to work harder to unthink what I know?

Just a thought!

Unthink what you know?

Depends on what you know, or more to the point – what your core beliefs are. If you know a lot of facts and also know (belief) that you can achieve the goals that you set yourself, what reason is there to un-know something?

A good education shouldn’t be a disadvantage, only limiting beliefs are.

So, what is it that you want to un-learn?

For some of us, it’s a matter of unlearning the negative patterns that were taught early in life. Nothing is impossible though for the person who is determined. Mind set is everything.

Hi Elizabeth,

I’m with you. Nothing is impossible. We can create the life of our dreams. We can overcome the past. It doesn’t have to define us or our lives.

We can definitely unlearn the things we picked up from our parents and our families about money and success. Whatever their attitudes and feelings are about these things; we don’t have to live them.

We are free to make our own choices for what works in our life. Anything is possible when you make having a successful mindset a way of life.
