		<description>Hi Sean

The more often I take massive action towards the goals that I know I will achieve, the more I prove to myself that I can do it.

This is the only way for me. I have nothing to hang &#039;faith&#039; on and I put all my energy, time and focus into making sure that I take action every minute of every day to reach my set goals.

I am very practical in this way.</description>

		<description>Hi Wal,

I completely agree with you. I do think we have to work at developing our mind in the same way we strengthen our body. As Sean says, we have to learn the principles of success so that we can apply the feeling of faith whenever we need it.

The only way to voluntarily develop feelings of faith is to repeat our desires to our subconscious mind over and over again. I think the more we practice this, the better we get at it.

<description>Faith is a divine quality. At the physical level it translates as absolute certainty. We can develop an attitude of faith like we can develop any other quality, by frequent repetition. Like working out in a gym develops muscles, I guess.

<description>I do think Napoleon Hill was totally on the mark here, (not that I dispute any of his work). All this time later, those words: &quot;Repeating and reaffirming orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of faith.&quot; are still valid. We haven&#039;t found a better way to voluntarily develop.
And the process still works, for during the times of affirmation, issues arise and as we deal with them we see how those very issues were impacting and hindering the desired outcome.
We humans are a pretty amazing bunch.

<description>Faith and religion is still very much intertwined for a lot of us. Why? Because we get thought from a very early age on to &quot;have faith in God&quot;. It gets repeated over and over again.
So if this can be instilled on us, everybody who has faith in anything can also create faith in themselves. Which I think is the most important faith anyone can have.
And it is great that Napoleon Hill took the time to write this fact down in his book with lots of examples and easy steps to follow.
