Hi Elly,

It took me a long time to get to the knowing stage. Now that I’m there I’m not about to let anything hold me back. I know that I will succeed and it’s only a matter of time before I’m living the life of my dreams.

I just have to keep working hard and moving towards my dreams.

Faith is a beleif in something or someone, I feel at this stage of my life I can step up to knowing. I know I can succeed, I know and I will.

I have a steely determination to do what I have planned for myself and I am taking action every minute of every day.

I think it’s very important to have self confidence. I think life is a little easier for people who have faith in their ability to succeed at anything they try.

You’re right. It’s a lot easier to teach children to have faith in themselves by developing their self confidence. If we can teach them to look inside themselves for the answers to their problems; rather than relying on some external source; they will naturally be self confident.

It can be more difficult to help adults believe in themselves. Still, if we all embrace Napoleon Hill’s teachings; we’ll be just fine.

A few observations here. Brain scans show that the sex and fight centers of the brain are closely related. I wonder what this means in relation to Hill's teachings? Hi Lina,
I could write a book! (well a couple of chapters, anyway). Your questions are very valid – faith and feeling. Faith is knowing that the fridge is full when you are hungry (because you shopped yesterday), you add feeling to it when you anticipate a meal while going to the fridge eg. ‘I feel like that chocolate icecream with some of that port-wine jelly’ – its the sensory things that are the ‘feelings,’ the rolling of the creamy smooth icecream on your tongue and the flavours of the chocolate etc that adds to the experience.
To visualise well is not just to put a thought up on a screen, but to participate within the experience – to embody it, to live it. Then the sub-conscious says, ‘ooh, so you liked that? I will get you some more” And away you go.
Now, what was ‘Jenny Craig’s’ phone number??
