Hi Jill,

That is an incredible story. The mind is a powerful thing and we are capable of extraordinary feats when we harness its full potential. Right now, it seems like we can only do this in a crisis.

In the future I think we will be able to access the mind’s power at will. The more we learn how to use our mind to achieve our goals; the closer we get to tapping into our mind’s full potential.

Hi Sean,
The story is about a parents love and devotion and a desire to overcome his son’s disability. I parents love can be so powerful. I read about a mother in the U.K. The story was on T.V. It was that her son was hit by a double-decker bus. The bus stopped and her son was pinned underneath the wheels. The mother lifted the bus off the ground and off her son and he was rescued and ended up being o.k.

Still today people often talk about the mum’s extraordinary ability. It’s still baffling how she could have done it and is still without a tangible explanation.

After reading the Mindset Mastery series here I see she had a similar desire to Hill. That is her wanting to help her son.

You know, following the conversations above, I really think we got the word wrong. I don’t know that it was actually meant to be ‘disability’ the way it has been used in the vernacular over the last couple of decades. I think it was more like someone saying ‘dis ability.’ Not long before my own son’s accident, like Jazz’s friend above, I had been reading a book about John Maclean, an Aussie paralympian – gold medalist. He became paralysed through his childhood, and he says that while he was a decent enough athlete before his incident, he would never have discovered his drive and passion without his experience. His book was an inspiration for me. He found his ability via ‘dis’ thing that had happened to him. I don’t wish that sort of impact on anyone’s life – but it seems to me that ‘burning desires’ are often born out of one’s need for great change. And when I see amazing strength of character, and courage, I am inspired.
