Hi Elly,

I think it’s hard wired into us. I can’t help it. I’m just naturally persistent and I think if I’m going to do something then I’m going to go after it, relentlessly.

I really believe that persistence is the difference between success and failure.

Hi Sean

I had a little laugh to myself after reading this article on persistence. I have been commenting for the past 6 hours tonight and it is 1.35 am, I am in a motel in Wagga, on holiday (pretend holiday) with my son and my light is the only one on in the complex.

I can see Jazz is still working away, so is Don, Jody and Helen. One morning it was 3.30 am and Isa appeared on Facebook just as I was signing off!

All the stayers in the competition are very persistent, every single one.

I must agree that persistence is definitely the key to the success of anything you do! Life is full of failure and I’m sure everyone has a little tail to tell of how they have failed at something. I believe that only those that learn from their mistakes and push through life’s challenges are deserving of true success. : )

This thread so totally sums up well one of the key issues about being successful online – so thanks to all for your comments – very timely for me and encouraging me to be more persistent and not focussed on the obstacles that can be so discouraging.
