Hi Sarah,

I'm not sure why they don't value what they're offered but I think it would have something to do with not valuing themselves first. They can only act in accordance with they way they see themselves.

Maybe they run away because they find it scary to be cared about. It's much easier to believe that no-one cares and to protect yourself from that kind of hurt. This is preferable to believing that someone cares and then you find out they don't.

Hi Jill,

I agree that we need discipline to finish what we start. If we want to have a better life, we need to make some investment in our own education. But, we have to be prepared to see it through.

When we see an opportunity we need to grab it with both hands. We shouldn't devalue it because it's free or fail to follow through because no-one gives us a piece of paper at the end of it.

Discipline and sacrifice are always needed to make the most of any opportunity.

Self discipline is just as important as being able to reward yourself for a job well done. If you spend your day working hard and waiting for someone else to recognize you a plateau will be reached, if you can value what you're doing and take the time to recognize it the success you'll reach will be tremendous.

I sometimes wonder that the cost would be to go to university to take a course/ earn a degree in applying the law of attraction in your life. It would be priceless and definitely a course I would work non stop to attend. It should be a prerequisite to graduating high school maybe.

I can never understand that either. My parents were foster parents and it was disappointing to me to see so much given to these underprivileged kids that was unvalued. Even now they live in a beautiful home, the kids get regular allowance, unlimited great food, basically everything I would love and yet they commonly runaway declaring they need a vacation.

I look at their lives as a vacation that is going to waste on those who don't appreciate it at all. These same kids can get a free higher education if they prove they will value it and instead throw it away while people like myself struggle to make the money needed to buy something I would cherish forever.
