Mindset Mastery 101 – An Individual Effort

by Sean Rasmussen on April 17, 2009

Mindset Mastery eBookUtilising the process of autosuggestion is a highly individual endeavour. No one can do this for you. That fact works in your favor too, though, because it also means that you are in control of your financial destiny and can keep trying until you get it right and get rich!

More Than Wit

Wisdom and “cleverness” alone, will not help you attract and retain money except in a few very rare instances; only where the law of averages favors the attraction of money through these avenues. The method of attracting money described here does not depend on the law of averages. Moreover, the method does not play favorites. It will work for one person as effectively as it will for another. When failure is experienced, it is the individual, not the method, that failed. If you try and fail, make another effort, and still another, until you succeed.

Concentrate!

Your ability to use the principle of auto-suggestion will depend, very largely, on your capacity to concentrate on a given desire until that desire becomes a burning obsession.

When you begin to carry out the instructions included in the six steps described in the second chapter, you will need to utilize the principle of concentration.

Offered here are suggestions for the effective use of concentration. When you start to carry out the first of the six steps, the step instructing you to “fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire,” use the principle of concentration to focus your thoughts on that amount of money, with your eyes closed, until you can actually see the money appear. Do this at least once every day. As you go through these exercises, follow the instructions given in the chapter on faith, and see yourself actually in possession of the money!

Visualisation And Concentration

A lot of people feel funny trying to visualise something they don’t yet have. If you can get over that feeling, though, you have a powerful force to utilise. When you can see yourself as successful and wealthy, you will be that in every sense of the word, and the money will follow and grow.

Great posting. I have been giving more attention to autosuggestion and it has done wonders for my thinking patterns and strengthened by beliefs that i will get what i want.

Hi Sean,

As I have said before, I love the Law of Auto-Suggestion. As I say the six steps that Napoleon Hill outlines for transforming your desires into its physical equivalent; I visualize my desire as a reality. It is already here in my life. Today.

I use many methods to help me visualize my desires. I focus on what I want and I believe that what I desire is already mine.

Its great to be reminded that I am in total control of what is happening to me. No ifs and buts, if I want it I can get it.
I have a very strong picture in my mind what is coming my way, and I am really looking forward to that :)
Thanks Sean and Napoleon Hill for reminding me of my own strength!

You should let us know when you get it. We don’t need details but it’s inspiring to see others put this into effect and come out with what they want or need.

Hi Renee,

It’s true that we are in complete control of our lives. We may not always control what is happening to us but we can control how we react to it.

We can definitely control whether or not we reach our goals though. It’s up to us to make our desires a reality.

I’m over that strange feeling as I’ve had it work. I just need to take the time to make it work again and again and again.

Hi Sarah,

That’s awesome! I’m still trying to work out my personal formula for making the principle of auto-suggestion work whenever I want it.

I’m guessing that once you have worked out the best way to mix emotion and faith with your statement of desire to manifest it in your life; it would be easier to do it the next time. For now though, I’ll have to keep persisting. :)
