The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

by Sean Rasmussen on September 15, 2009

The Secret MP3 Download was so popular, it crashed my server at least 3 times, possibly more. Anyway, I have fixed that glitch and it won’t be a problem now. I wonder if 7000 visitors had anything to do with it ;) . If anyone didn’t get the MP3 download, it is now OK to grab. Grab it in this post: The Secret MP3 Download

The Good The Bad & The UglyI have received a lot of feedback, and here it is:

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

In true Clint Eastwood fashion, I receive feedback: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. I get hundreds of emails and comments with massive praise and gratitude. As usual, I get the occasional complaint (I’m an internet marketer, right) and that is usually fixed by removing that person from my list that they opted in to.

Then I get the Ugly feedback, such is the nature of this that I couldn’t publish it here as it would undoubtedly upset many people (seriously, it is very ugly). Let’s just say the wording involves parts of people’s anatomy. Fortunately, those are few and far between. However black energy, as I call negative emotions, is very powerful and it is very easy to get drawn down by the negativity and forget about the hundreds and even thousands of grateful people out there thanking you.

The MP3 Feedback

Many people have slow connections and a 218MB zip file is quite large. So, one thing I have decided to do is make this available in smaller packages for download. I am currently in the first day of my Year Of The Affilate Launch & the Internet Marketing Forum, so give me a fortnight to sort that out and I’ll be back to you with a more workable filesize to download.

My New Personal Assistant: Clint Eastwood

Clint EastwoodFrom now on, Clint Eastwood will be handling the complaints department of my inbox and comments section. I’ll take the praise and the nice stuff and Clint is going to handle the potty mouths.

Clint’s  standard reply will be:

Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya punk!”

Now there’s a good deal!

And thank you for the hundreds of nice emails and comments :)

Until next time… Have a great one!

G’day Sean,
A MILLION Thankyous for your priceless gift.

Got home late last night and read half and then listened to the same half which was read beautifully and professionally before sleep. The feeling of ” BEING ON THE RIGHT PATH AT LAST ” overwhelmed me, and has given me a huge boost of confidence to press on. I have tried quite a few paths in my time !

How dare people give negative feedback for a precious gift which was offered with love and respect – where are our manners these days ? Has the internet deleted them ? I think not with most of us, but there are others who think manners are uncool ! Let’s resolve to keep good manners at the forefront of our dealings !

GETTING CLINT TO DEAL WITH THE NEGS WILL ” MAKE MY DAY ”
Cheers
Harry Lynn

Cheers Harry. I just can’t wait to see a movie about Clint’s life. I think Hugh Jackman has that Clint Eastwood look in his eyes, with the right amount of beard on his face.

Hey Sean,

Thank you so much for the audio of your book!! LOVE IT!! Listened to it once already and will listen to it many more times.
I am astonished that people would give negative comments for such a wonderful gift! It’s my experience that people who put down others are usually envious, jealous types who don’t deserve your time or energy.
Best to let Clint deal with them.

Thanks again Sean

Hi Sean,
Thank you for sorting that out. I wasn’t expecting a reply when I emailed with that query (even though I hoped), so I was very impressed that you responded. I haven’t listened to the MP3 download yet (shame on me) – but I know I’m going to love it!
And – Clint is just perfect for the role…!
Thanks.
Janette.

Hey Sean

Thanks for the great read, it took me 2 sessions to get through but it was well worth, coming back to it. I am sure I will read it again and I will apply what it has said. The funny thing is, I have always had a creative mind, but this has put some clarity to it and given it direction.

All the best to you

I can’t believe you would get ugly feedback…I hate to think what that involves. The 7000 hits should be positive enough not to worry about those who are to silly to want to help themselves.

Hi Sean

Good on you for taking the ugly feedback with grace, good humour and professionalism.

It’s not a nice thing when you read comments like that at first. Believe me, I’ve been called some rather… challenging and colourfully worded language on one social media site in particular – where it’s open slather, especially for people who hide behind a nickname with no profile and no avatar.

It’s hard to receive such aggressive responses, especially if you’re used to the kind, supportive environment of the YOTA forum. But hey, there’s a whole world out there with a diversity of people. They’re part of life and they have a purpose. Just like spammers and cockroaches.

Just laugh. And then share stories about them on your blog or with friends on facebook.

There always has to be one bad apple amongst a whole bag of good ones. They are usually the ones that feel like that they are lacking in life, so need to bring someone else down to feel better. But tha’t ok because that is what the delete button is for, and for every 1 bad feedback, there are plenty more positives!!! Its a shame that someone has to be mean to feel better, and (pretty) please let Clint handle the Good, The Bad and The Ugly because he is so damn good at it (and so very good looking!!) :)
PS:- To the damn ugly feedback person here is my two cents worth “What a fool you are for destorying a damn good friendship with one of the best on the internet. Remember what goes around comes around!!!”
Keep on smiling :)

It’s funny how so often the ones that would benefit most of something don’t see this opportunity at all. I feel sorry for them, but only they can change their life. Others (like Sean) can only offer them help but not force them to take it.

Yes Renee

That is no helping some people. I have learned that because something is free some people don’t value it and think there is an a secret agenda. Such is the lack of trust. No doubt the scammers have helped to develop this notion

Hi Sean,

I love the download. It’s excellent company while I’m working out. It always helps to get me in the right frame of mind so that I can come home and knuckle down to work.

As far as the negative comments go, I wouldn’t give them a second thought. It’s been my experience that some people will always find fault with something because their lives are so miserable they can’t help themselves. Just wish them well and send them on their way.

Also, I love Clint, Sean but I think I would have gone with Chuck. He would give them something to whinge about.:)

Sorry Jazz I still prefer Clint. Or maybe the Terminator would of been a good choice.
I’ll be back!

Anyway Sean sleep well in the knowledge of the downloaded copies going to people who want them
