  9. Food for thought. I’m off to start looking for great products with at least 40% commission

  10. This is the 2nd time round for me listening to this series of videos, and I can say that it’s a very different experience this time round. It’s definitely a case of ‘when the student is ready, the teacher will appear’ ~ Buddhism proverb :).

Getting started with no outlay, Yes!! The product I believe in and love is making money on line! Join affiliate marketing program folks!

  12. Watching this series of videos again, I realized how much I had forgotten about what you had taught eg. choosing products with at least 40% commission, etc.

  13. Looking forward to your 5 step system for the product!

I found one with high commission, good gravity, low key word competition, good monthly global search number etc… I believe in it but I do not love it and I don’t know much about it!!??
So, Iam very interested to learn why choosing a product you love is no. 1 on your check list!

  14. Thanks Sean for more great tips about affiliate marketing. Getting Started With No Outlay appeals to people that do not have a lot of money to invest and offers a way for those who have the desire to achieve financial freedom a better chance at it! : )

  15. Hi Trish – totally agree with you. I think if you write about something you’re passionate about, it will shine through and make the affiliate marketing much more enjoyable and satisfying. The marketplaces are just huge, there’s so much to choose from! There’ll be something for everyone.

  16. Brenda McNutt says:

Guess everyone’s on the hunt for that product offering at least 40% commission. It will be interesting to see what people come up with.

  17. Hey Sean,

Just watched the clip. Clearly, getting started with no outlay is going to be a clear advantage, not only to your hip pocket, but also for your confidence. With no outlay, you can afford to experiment and try different approaches to see what works best for the product you have chosen. But then, I guess with the steps that you’ll be giving in future videos and webinars, will experimentation be recommended? I guess it depends on the results that you are looking and hoping for.

    Just a thought!

    Cheers,

    Pete
.-= Pete´s last blog ..peteboyr: @bullhunter Thanks, Sean. Just reviewing the webinar, and will get to your blogs after that. Big night ahead, pizza on the way! =-.

  18. G’day Sean,
I took some notes during the interview with Alexi and when I look at the points you made, this has got to be absolute gold, especially when we get the product selection info in the next video.
Written down, the points you made are looking very impressive !

    Check this out:-
    1. A 5 step process to decide on profitable, wanted products.
    2. Free website
    3. Free Hosting
    4. Zero costs [ except for your connection ]
    5. No Banner advertisements from opposition marketers [ What a gem ]

To cap it off, your suggestion of concentrating on products with a minimum commission of 40 % is very valuable because it eliminates heaps of wasted time. After all, getting back some extra time for the important things in life, especially family is one of the main reasons for being involved with YOTA.

Thankyou for starting the competition and for giving us all a chance to Learn and Earn.

    Cheers

  20. The big thing I got out of this video was to not look at commission less then 40%. Thanks for that great advice as a lot of the ones I have joined only give 5-8%. Time to re evaluate. Also Great to know beginners can get started with no outlay.

  21. Taking the Risk out of setting up a website to promote products is such a big advantage to have, especially when your learning your craft.
Sean, I also like your rule of sticking to the best of the best affiliate product offers, by only accepting offers of greater than 40%.
Its great going thru this video series again, it reinforces past learnings.

Free setting up of a website to promote products is such an advantage for anyone not sure if it is what they want to do, and if your like me the bug will bite and you will want to explore so much more, this series of videos is so clear with no BS it is refreshing.
To have only one product per site and getting 40% commission would be so good.

Sean, I sincerely appreciate the fact that you are willing to share this information with those of us who are just starting out on the internet marketing journey. To know that it took you so many months to find all this out for yourself and now to pass your knowledge on to us for free.. it is exceptionally generous of you. I am very much looking forward to getting started!

Thanks so much Sean, it being all free to start it , no money needed, sounds so good.

  35. Watching these videos a second time around just reinforces that you don’t need a lot of money to start making money. Know your product, check your commission is at least 40% and get started and hosted for free.

Sean you are absolutely breaking down the barriers that most people (myself included) put in front of themselves as reasons (excuses) not to get started!

With you on our side we are all winners. The process of getting started really is as simple as ABC.

The ‘nugget’ I got was the part on min 40% commission. Our time is so valuable. We want leverage and so it makes perfect sense to go for gold and not accept anything less than that. Thank you

Looking forward to the next instalment!

  37. It is certainly a very practical risk free starting point for many people. However, there’s no absolute FREE lunch in this world. Don’t forget, folks, you have to work hard too while taking advantage of free resources and tools here. Success = Opportunity + Sweat

What caught my attention at the end was the 40% commission – to me it seems like a challenge to find that commission away from Clickbank with most of the affiliate programs Ive been looking at offering 5-15%……………eager to learn more over the next few weeks

  40. Hi Sean,

I love to re-view this video series. It is possible to get started without a financial outlay, and to get really good and successful at what you are doing.

Couldn’t agree with you more on the passionate product thing mate, if you try and sell a product you’re not passionate about, than in my opinion, it’s just work. I am not looking for another job, I’m looking for a path to freedom doing something I love doing. Also thanks for the advice on minimum 40% commission

  45. Isnt it an awesome thing that these days you can do exactly what your passionate about, through something as easy as the internet, and make 40% comissison on something that is not even yours!!! This video series is proving very worth while, not that im suprised!

    • It’s absolutely fantastic that it’s so easy this day and age to do what you love and love what you do. Not everything has been done before so now is the time to learn what has been done, make money off it and learn from it so that you can do something new and pave the way for the next affiliate marketing campaign!
.-= Sarah Butland´s last blog ..The Magic of Believing Review =-.

      • Hi Sarah,

These are really exciting times. Sean is showing us so much stuff that there’s really no excuse not to get started doing what you love. He’s even showing us how to do it with no outlay.

This is the best time to learn to be an affiliate marketer. By the time the seven weeks are up, I think we’ll be well on our way. 🙂

  46. Thanks Sean for another great informative video. Having the 5 steps explained in detail is great and you can really tell you have ‘done the hard yards’ and are now bringing us the best bits.

  50. Cathy and Trevor Howitt says:

    I agree with Gee,
It doesn’t matter how many times you have heard something or seen it elsewhere, there is ALWAYS something more to learn (something you may have missed the first time).
“When the student is ready the teacher will appear” is soooooooooo true Hillary.
I have heard this many times and in my own experience, it has always been the case.
So getting started with no outlay is possible and a very exciting prospect.
    Good luck to everyone.
    Cath

    • I was told once, or maybe 21 times, that it takes a person 21 repetitions before it becomes of interest to them. Meaning, you can have one person visit your site 20 times but it’s that 21st visit that he or she will become a visitor.

So is true with forming a habit or learning a lesson. It doesn’t much matter what type of learner we are but that we hit our mind on the lesson 21 times before it sticks with us.

  51. Getting started with no outlay is not just saving money but it is a headstart that is also encouraging – perhaps there is a free lunch after all. Not really, work still has to be done!

  52. Hello Sean,

I like how down to earth this interview is. The pond in the background is a great view, and how to get started with not outlay, gotta love that !!

Off to look for the next video for the tips on what product to sell, and how to sell without costing a cent. I like your point about making sure the product is worth “our time’ and to only look at products that make 40% commission or its not a product that we should promote.

Looking forward to more videos with your Internet Marketing tips 🙂

    Cheers

  53. Thanks for the tip about aiming for a minimum commission of 40%. There are lots of great products I’d love to market however this will help me to focus on profitability. Afterall, I am running an internet marketing BUSINESS!

  54. Mary Halacas says:

A good informative and motivational interview Sean, I look forward into learning more from you.

  55. I suppose you can get commissions anywhere – but knowing which to choose is a whole different ballgame.
Criteria like 40%+ commisions are a good baseline for choices

  56. Fantastic infomation in these short videos Sean.
Can’t wait for the next one.

  57. Hi Sean,
That’s an important message to remember. Not to look at a product unless it has a 40% commission for affiliates.

Good advice, that makes a lot of sense!
