Well said, Tris. Don't forget Ronald Reagan. What a puppet he was! GW Bush makes him look good. Ronald Reagan recorded a record, as a B grade actor, about "The Dangers Of Socialised Medicine". It was distributed to the US people. What he was saying was this:

Don't let your government take charge of your health care. You can't have free health care provided by the government. It wont work. (It's better to pay through your nose to insurance companies that throw people out on the street in the US if they can't pay the bill)

Oh the joys of brainwashing and indoctrination. Reagan sure was a Doozy!

John Cleese is notoriously left of field, but the parrot analogy he used is - I think - one of the best and most articulate ways to describe what is going on with Sarah Palin. It is frightening that so many do not realise how little conscious thought she puts into her answers.

Perhaps the saddest thing, though, is that this really can't be limited to Palin. The entire campaigning process is a matter of delivering memorised speeches, and it's little wonder why a politician will answer a question... with an answer that does not address the question.

It is much like Bush, who hasn't done anything new in the realm of US presidentials. Is there a president who has *not* allowed death for the purpose of personal gain? Is there a president who has *not* sold out to funding, because the government is indeed iike any other business - it must make a profit? The only difference is, Bush was simply so terrible a diplomat that he could not hide it from his people like past presidents have - and has even made it news (which is a good thing!).

So many accuse specific candidates of this kind of thing, but it's really just the political system. The US media successfully blacked out the only hope against this destructive political cycle - Ron Paul - so in a large sense the result of the election does not matter. They are, indeed, puppets.

But I guess the masses need something to get excited about as they unconsciously sacrifice their life to meaningless 9-5 jobs, while absorbing the fear and "importance" of the evening news, and think that they actually have a democratic say in this secretive governing body who takes half their paycheck.

It is an amazing life to try and change the world. It is a sad life to try and change the world through politics.

Wake up and break free!

Hey Bobby, now that's what I call free will and freedom of speech. Some people are more out there than others. Usually, the "others" are worried about how they might look and what people think of them. Well, I for one know you only through the blogosphere and I would really like to shake your hand right now... or even give you a hug, lol. I like that fact that you don't hold back at all. Have a great weekend

Wow! Thanks Bobby.

Your comment is very timely. I just checked out your latest post. Your a very well respected blogger and I like your "neutral" status in the political stakes. (I'm sure some will dissagree ;) )

Hey, respond back again and tick the Ajax CommentLuv icon so people can find your latest post. I'll paste your URL in here: http://revellian.com/2008/10/17/obama-mccain-big-brothers-candidates/

I totally agree with John Cleese! Palin knows nothing and has been trained. She absolutely does not qualify to run as vice president. Of course, Obama has also been trained. Obama has been a politician for less than 300 days, and will probably be the president. I oppose McCain and Obama because both are fascist anti-capitalist morons.

As an American, I jut want government out of my life and out of my earnings. All federal income taxes are unconstitutional and kill small business. McCain might be a war hero, but his pro-war stance and big government spending make him a fascist in my book. Obama is even worse, he is a Marxist. Here comes the collectivist world, where we all live like the Borg on Star Trek.

Sean, you are an Individualist who works hard and makes things happen! If you want something out of life, you make it happen yourself. I don't want the government doing anything for me.
