Hi Sean,
This is another great chapter. Knowledge is very powerful if you know how to use it and where to find it. I definitely think that you don’t need to know everything but you do need to know where to find the knowledge that is vital for your success.
The internet really makes it so much easier to access information and specialized knowledge. Also, being part of a Master Mind group is invaluable. We are very fortunate to be living in this time in history.
I just finished reading this chapter (yay, I finally got the book) and think it’s the one I have the most difficulty with thus far. Asking for the help of others when I can learn to do the task, even if not as good as the specialist, I settle for the best I can do instead of the best it can be.

So many folks will read and learn what needs to be done, they will go to all the seminars available, yet they will never progress from where they currently are in life !!
You must put into practice what you are learning, for only action will create results. Make sure you not only learn what Sean & Napoleon are trying to convey to you, you must then use the knowledge and take action.

For some reason I am only able to hear the first 13 seconds of this recording. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I have the same problem Wal I thought it must have been my computer
Oh joy! I have this issue with chapter 5 & 6. I uploaded 15 chapters in Bunbury and I am now in South Australia. I will see how I can fix this.
The file has been replaced. 3 cheers!
Great. Well done, Sean. I guess that means you are back home after a wonderful trip. I picked up some pop corn and soda during the intermission to enjoy while sitting back and relaxing in this next session.

Bummer that the recording is tricking us – so far to specialized knowledge
Its important to know what you can and want to do, but also when it makes sense to get the support of someone else who enjoys that field which is not your favourite!

Intermission! That reminds me of the good old days before TV when there were lots of community picture theaters. On Saturday afternoon they would show 2 kids movies with an intermission in between. That meant ice cream and coke. Yum. Intermission is my favorite.
While I’m loving the Chapters, I cannot wait until the full mp3 download is made available. That will definitely be one for the iPod

The biggest challenge I face is when to use specailized knowledge (if I am not the right person to do the job). I am so used to doing “everything” that you get someone else in to do it can be a challenge for me (especially as i have a certain level of expectation around the job I want done).
But this has been the biggest lesson in my Internet Marketing journey. One cannot do everything, so some of it has to be outsourced. I guess that is the reason one has a mentor, to help guide our decisions along the right path.
Cath
Hi Cath,
I think you have more success when you work to your strengths. It’s okay to outsource some of the things you don’t enjoy doing or that take up too much time to do.
You can still have expectations around the quality of the work that you accept. You just have to make your expectations clear and accept nothing less than what you want.

Glad to find this link – have downloaded my copy – and ready to read from cover to cover.
I think Napoleon Hill, along with the Warren Buffet series are two of the best references in all the blogs we come across in this comp. Thanks Sean.
I was already a fan of Law of Attraction fanpage. (in fact I think that’s how I heard about the competition)
I know there are no points for it but I’ve shared this page on Facebook and tweeted it on Twitter.
I’m all about spreading the word.
oops I should have said spreading the word about Napolean Hill’s ‘Think & Grow Rich’
Totally awesome book and worth a read more than once. Follow the instructions in the book and it will be a more regular part of your life than an occasional read.
Recently went to Perth and saw a seminar dedicated to this book by 21ca, and MC’d by Craig Jervis. Brilliant book and well worth the read, or in this case the listen
Think and Grow Rich is worth a read AND a listen – and more than once. You can pick up things listening that you don’t read and vice versa.
