Today is my birthday and this morning I reflected on the Internet Marketing DVD offer I made a few days ago. I gave away the first 200 of my brand new Internet Marketing DVD’s for Free.
I didn’t realise that it was to end up in a Feeding Frenzy!
I expected a casual 200 orders to come in quietly as I made the offer on Saturday night, before turning off the computer and settling in for the weekend. “I’ll check it on Monday morning and turn off the offer then.” – I thought.
Hmm.. think again, Sean!
The 200 Internet Marketing DVD’s were snapped up – pronto! I saw the progress on the Facebook Fanpage: SeanRasmussenTalks and the DVD uptake seemed under control – but in the background there was quite another story unfolding.

Monday morning I discovered there had been an absolute Feeding Frenzy! I didn’t put any controls in place to stop the orders at 200 DVD’s. It seems the demand to Learn About Internet Marketing is much bigger in Australia and New Zealand than expected – well, at least from ethical internet marketers!
(Disclaimer: Nobody with a clean conscience need to get upset from that statement)
The orders had blown out – Big Time!
So I have ordered more Internet Marketing DVD’s to avoid disappointing anyone.
Today, 5 May 2010, is my birthday. Therefore, rather than receive presents, I will give presents away! After all, giving is much better than receiving. I have ordered more DVD’s and I have another 200 Internet Marketing DVD’s lined up to hand out (plus the backlog of orders from the other day).
