For A Few Tweets More

The next webinar in the Learn And Earn Internet Marketing Competition is coming up. This time we will learn lots and earn a few prizes. Yes, I have some nice gifts for those that turn up!

For A Few Tweets More

The next session is about Twitter: For A Few Tweets More. You can register here.

What Happened To The Last Webinar?

Where did the recording go from last nights webinar: Do You Feel Lucky? Well… it goes to show that it pays to attend the live sessions – and that fortune favours the fast. Today I have had grief with technical issues and my day has just disappeared from under me (while having lots of fun of course).

  • I had zero staff in the office today. I was doing 8 things at once .
  • The phone rang endlessly ๐Ÿ˜€
  • My recording of the webinar wouldn’t play back today. After 3 attempts of uploading it, I decided that the day was gone.
  • I had other things to do as well. I do have business to run too, you know… ๐Ÿ˜‰

So… I’ve had to cancel Friday’s webinar about Twitter and have moved it to Monday. Make sure you register and be there for the Give Away Gifts.

Tomorrow, I will do my best to get the recording online for the “Do You Feel Lucky” webinar.

  1. I have registered – but still counting on the recording of the last one, need to review a few things ๐Ÿ™‚

As you relentlessly tried to upload it I assume it is recorded and will be there soon – patience is a virtue (ok, not my favourite ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

See you for a few tweets more on Monday!
.-= Renee´s last blog ..Self Improvement Books โ€“ What Are Your Favourites =-.

  2. I’ve registered, and as it’s school holidays, the 3pm start isn’t a problem – hooray :).

It sounds like a few drinks are in order for you tonight Sean!

  3. Hi Sean,

It sounds like you’ve had a rough day. Maybe you should delegate the fixing of the recording to Yang. I can see his hand up from here. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll see you Monday for a few tweets more. I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on Year of the Dog’s report. I’ll bet it’s a cracker.

    Have a great night.

  4. Helen Nester says:

Thank you Sean for your amazing efforts today and last night as well to try and get the webinar to us. Your efforts do not go unappreciated.

I guess the recording wasn’t feelin so lucky lol

It seemed to be a day for many nasty gremlins , must have been the national day for the little ….umm … mites!! I had friends in Melbourne having computer issues as well.

Technically I am replying on the next blog post to come along after last nights webinar so I am going to just point out that I have resisted temptation all day to reply elsewhere in my efforts to try and be a good vegemite ๐Ÿ™‚

So according to one of the most important rules ‘Mr pay Attention To Details Himself!’ I would like to let you know that I have registered with LinkedIn and added you according to the 1st webinar and I have also registered with Alexa.

I am also registered and looking forward to Mondays webinar For A Few Tweets More. This is one that I am so looking forward to in a big way!

I wish you all the best for tomorrow with the recording ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I’ve registered! Looks like I’ll be taking my laptop to work and sneaking off to the carpark at 3pm!

  6. Hi Sean,

I, too, have registered for the next webinar. Looking forward to what you have to say about Tweeting. I only joined Twitter a week or so ago so I am still finding my way around it.

As for the last webinar I was already a member of LinkedIn from another life but have taken this to update my profile and interact more on it.

I now have an Alexa account and look forward to the tasks you are going to set on this Learn and Earn Internet Marketing Competition.

  7. Hi Sean,

Sounds like you had a very busy day so thanks for all the work you have put in for us! Looking forward to the ‘For A Few Tweets More’ webinar on monday & hope you have a great weekend : )

  8. There we go. All registered for Monday’s “For A Few Tweets More” webinar. Also, gave the article a digg.

Considering the new time frame for the webinar I’ll be doing my best to be there with bells on or at least awake with a coffee in my hand.

    Sean Rulez!

  9. Hi Sean

I have registered for Mondays webinar.

“Wellโ€ฆ it goes to show that it pays to attend the live sessions โ€“ and that fortune favours the fast”

I am sorry but I couldn’t make it to the webinar last night, I hurried to get home to find our beautiful purebred German Shepherd had been poisoned from what we think was weed killer being sprayed down at the lake while he was walked yesterday afternoon.

It was very upsetting. The best I could do was sit by him until he stopped being sick. I spent the rest of the night by him and kept going with the competition on facebook. Apologies for not getting to the webinar. Our dog survived the night and looking alot better tonight.

    • Cathy and Trevor Howitt says:

Elly, Sorry to hear about your dog, but very pleased that he is looking a lot better.
My husband accidentally hit a dog the other night (it ran out under his car from nowhere). It was terrible having to tell the owners that their dog had been hit. Unfortunately, their dog didn’t survive, so I am really pleased that yours has.
A dog really is a man’s (or woman’s) best friend and I’m sure it would have been very distressing at the time.
Hope all is still going well for your beloved pet as I write this.
Enjoy the webinar when Sean gets it up and running.
      Cheers Cath

  10. Jacqui Emery says:

    Hi Sean,
I’ve registered for Mondays webinar on tweeting. This is a totally new topic for me so I am eager to learn what this social media is and how to use it.

  11. Hi Sean,
Registered for Monday. Thanks for updating us. Iam gonna wait patiently & keep an eye on the fanpage!

  12. Willem Broekers says:

Thank you for all your work Sean, much appreciated!

    I have registered for Monday.

Great picture of the tweety birds on you Sean, but it could get messy!

  13. Hi Sean

Sounds like you have been tested today under pressure! That jolly Murphys law will pop up when you least expect it.

What would Clint Eastwood do in the situation you were in today? He would probably turn to the computer, say “Do you feel lucky? well you ‘aint” and stick a bullet through it!

Lucky you are his nice patient brother, Sean Eastwood, kind to humans, animals and computers! Don’t worry – be happy!

    .-= Elly´s last blog .. =-.

  14. Cathy and Trevor Howitt says:

    Hi Sean,
Like I said in Facebook…Aaaagghhh modern technology. It’s a love/hate relationship, but luckily more love than hate.
I’m sure all with be in working order tomorrow. Thank you for your efforts.
I have joined Linkedin and Alexa (put it in another post anyhow), and I know you have accepted me on Linkedin. I must say, Linkedin is a pretty cool site….a great way for professionals to link up indeed.
Look forward to monday’s webinar. Have just registered.
    Cheers Cath

  15. Is that a blue bird on your shoulder Clint? He has brought along his friends and they all look happy thank goodness. Maybe the smiles are because they know success will be yours and Wednesday’s Webinar will eventually turn up for me to revise.

I have registered for Monday and looking forward to being there. I am a little disappointed that Friday will not happen but, as I have said before all good things come to those who wait.

I signed up with alexa and that was very easy, linkedin was a little more complicated and I successfully connected with you.

Smile Sean : – ) as you always do the force is with you.

  16. Jayne Pleysier says:

    Hi Sean
Thanks for the update on the recording – have been hanging out to see it and checking in every few hours.

So sorry you have had technical issues – they are a real pain and a huge time waster! I really appreciate that they are recorded as it gives me the opportunity to watch them which would not happen if it was just live. Thanks (plus I want to hear about my gravatar as I heard through the grapevine [well one person really ๐Ÿ™‚ (and yes Im expecting him now to comment to get his point) that you liked it]

  17. Jude Walton says:

I totally understand, we all have to take a stand sometimes or it will all fall in on us. Have a very good day businessing and I’m going to look at more Webinars and do some bookwork for my good friends at the ATO, namely finish April’s BAS and who knows perhaps even start May. -:)
PS: Hopefully you’ll be able to spend time with your family.

  18. Hi Sean

I will wait patiently for the recording. I was hoping it would be available by now so I could catch up before hitting the sack. Oh well not to be.
Hopefully in the morning so I can catch it before JOB.

That Murphy’s law can be a real pain.

  19. Quite a few here have commented on that it pays to pay attention to detail – you’d think I would learn wouldn’t you? But no, I just registered for the Twitter webinar – marked the calendar – and didn’t read on further – till a mo again – then saw it has been transferred to Monday.

Hopefully Sean will get a bit of a break over the weekend as we are over-working him! Thanks for the efforts Sean

  20. Hi Sean,
Have just registered for a Few Tweets More on Monday. Can’t wait so I can learn how to take better advantage of twitter.

  21. To get some bonus points in the Learn and Earn ‘For a Few Dollars More’ I, too, have registered with ‘For a Few Tweets More’ webinar on Monday and also that I have registered on Alexa and was also on LinkedIn.

First ‘Chicken Shit’ replaced the word ‘Money’. I see the concept continues with ‘Tweets’ replacing ‘Dollars’.

Give Me 20 Tweets – Ron Browz Feat
    I Need a Tweet – Aloe Blacc
Dialling for Tweets – Don Henderson

  22. We could count our chicken shit and see how many tweets we have.

    • somehow I missed the meaning of this one LOL

      • It’s never the same when you have to explain it. Well a wee bit back Sean posted an article about money and how it could be called something else like chicken shit. So instead of using the word money you would substitute in chicken shit (A Fistful of Chicken Shit). I think you get the picture.

Next webinar For a Few Tweets More. Intentional or not one could say substitute the word Dollars for Tweets.

Perhaps it will now make cents!
We could count our chicken shit and see how many tweets we have.

  23. Jean Follington says:

  26. Well Sean,
I hope there are no gremlins waiting for Mondays webinar, as I won’t be able to attend even though I have registered.
I will be at the celebration of my Uncle Bern’s Life.

  27. Hey Sean, you are a human being – and the one thing about life that is a constant is ‘change’ – you have been so busy of late I have been wondering how you fit in time with your family – I am sure they are awesome as you are and sometimes the universe comes in to create disruptions to redirect our attention for a while. Right now as an astrologer I know there are lots of sudden unexpected surprises and changes going on for us all. The planets Jupiter and Uranus have been close together in our skies creating tremendous optimism and potential for our wildest dreams to be realised plus the wish to do so many things and yet we have to be ready for change at any moment! In my life I am realising it is all about balance and moderation – a hard lesson to learn at times but an important one.

Love what you are doing – maybe it is time to take some time out for you and your loved ones! Thanks you for your awesome dedication!

PS Hope Yang feels better real soon!

    • Thanks Jeanni for sharing this thought so I can join in and thank Sean for bringing on this change to our lives. I for one cannot find the right word to express my gratitude to what he has put into making this a success. Thanks to Cherie also for being a wonderful partner and supporter of what Sean does to fulfil our wildest dreams now and generations to come.

Let Him Be Blessed now & forever, Amen!!

  29. Hello Sean,

So looking forward to listening on Monday, and maybe the universe is letting us know that we should all remember to turn up on Monday or we could miss out.

I registered for the last webinar but in all my studying of the home package I forgot to turn up!!! This time I am going to put an alarm into my phone for it ๐Ÿ™‚

Looking forward to moving Twitter up a notch or two for my business.
.-= Lisa Wood´s last blog ..Follow Your Heart =-.

    • It’s very easy to get engrossed in a wonderous task and forget about those non-regular things we had planned to do.

Good idea to set your alarm. Maybe by Monday you might be initially wondering why you set it but if you set it for 10 minutes before you’ll be on to it.

  30. Hi Sean,
I have registered for Monday’s webinar. Thought I may have missed Friday’s so lucky for me it is postponed. Also recently watched the recording of Do You Feel Lucky. Great Webinar and thank you for all the effort. I added you on LinkedIn as per the first webinar.

I’m signed up with Twitter. I have been since hearing you suggest to join at a seminar early last year. I’m discovering much about this community of new friends and learning a whole lot more.

  31. Albeit unintentional (right Sean?!?!), the delay of the twitter webinar has stirred up a heap of interest! Twitter will crash come Monday evening.

If it helps to get a headstart in readiness for the webinar, I have a list of some Twitter apps on my website – help yourselves. The only caveat is that I haven’t updated or checked the linking properly for a while now – so hope all is well. The link for socialoomph is there plus a few others.

Just did a quick link check – forget iFollowback!
I am sure there are more out there too

BTW – I only go for the free ones! Some charge!

  32. Just had a look at the competition rankings – Here Comes the Sun

Probably because the Sun is having fun!

  33. Hmm, when computers stuff up, they really stuff up. Been listening to the webinars, and they’ve been providing lots of good info, wanting some more!

Sean Thanks for an excellent webinar – I’m not scared of the Twitter social media tool any more. I learnt heaps and thank you again for wanting to help us to learn!!!!

  36. Hi Sean,
great introduction into Twitter! It’s definitely a good thing to be able to control media!

  37. That webinar got me all atwitter! Have been adding the Twitter follow me icon to my blogs and websites since. Worth the time for a few tweets more.

Now to check those other rererrals Sean provided

Even got DIGG onto the blogs – but it wouldn’t take for my websites – have to contact the admi I suppose.

  38. Thank you Sean for your efficiency, all the effort you and your team put in do not go unnoticed, Thanks again.

“Thanks for letting all of us know what is going on. We will all enjoy the recorded version of the webinar just as soon as you as you are able to post it. I know how very busy the forum can get. ๐Ÿ™‚
Meanwhile, while I am waiting, I’ll have a chance to catch up with some reviewing. ”

The above post was written by me and not submitted. LOL. The joys of pain and life stuff. It is so very good to see how much activity is happening around this whole venture, and how much ‘good’ learning and participation is happening, and so many wonderful people contributing. I am wealthy already!

  41. When all else fails, you have to do it yourself!

Or is it “when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping?”

Obviously we know which one Sean adheres to – when the staff weren’t there and the gremlins got loose – he went shopping – no just joking! He did his normal thing and we ended up with plenty to continue on with.

  42. Mary Halacas says:

Hi Sean, please be informed that I have created a twitter account named SmileyMezza, am following you, and yesterday I did retweet your Bullhunter twitter articles yesterday as per one of the tasks for 20 points. Overcome Everything…Now!

  43. Jayne Pleysier says:

I have taken the time to read through the guide and have really enjoyed some of the gems which are in there. I set up my twitter accounts last year and they have really just been ticking over waiting for the moment when I can spring them into action. Some great ideas in here about how to reactivate them and getting them going. Thankyou
